International Internships

AIESEC consists of Local Committees (LCs) in over 110 countries with over 4,000 partners creating and developing internship opportunities in their cities. Our LC here in SLO communicates with those LCs in other countries to match potential interns from other countries, and those wanting to go abroad on internships. There are currently 52,000 active AIESEC members around the world offering internship opportunites in four categories: Professional, Volunteering, Education and Technology. Requirements: Any student and graduate up to 2 years following school is eligible to go on an AIESEC Internship. Being a member of our Local SLO Chapter is encouraged, but not required. Details and Logistics: Duration-6 weeks to 18 months Salary will cover living costs, with the exception of some volunteer work-Airfare is not included Selection process-Generally takes between 1 and 3 months to find, apply and complete the internship process Our SLO LC prepares you for your internship by: -Access to AIESEC Internship Database -Assistance to finding a suitable internship -Guidance through application process -Communication with AIESEC Committee abroad -One-on-one support throughout the application process, selection, and internship Your host AIESEC community provides you with: -Application for required visa, work permit, and all necessary paperwork -Arrangement of airport pickup, help you find housing or provide it -Help with adjustment to cultural differences -Integration into their local committee through organized events and activities -An unforgettable Cultural Experience Pricing: Educational Internship Program: Application fee: $150, Match fee: $350 Professional Internship Program: Application fee: $150, Match fee: $600 Volunteer Internship Program: Application fee: $150, Match fee: $350 Technology Internship Program: Application fee: $150, Match fee: $600
