No. In that sense, AIESEC is kind of like Monster.com. It’s a free market; you apply for things, but companies can choose to reject you. Of course you don’t pay the program fee (just the application fee) if you don’t end up going somewhere.
Maybe. Internships come and go throughout the year. By applying to the program, you will be able to see things as they pop up. We may not have a position open in Denmark right now, for example, but we might next month. Mmm, Danish.
An AIESEC internship is a great way to become fluent in a language. You’ll be around native speakers ALL the time (not like most study abroad trips where you’re with a bunch of Americans) and quickly pick up the way the language is spoken on the street and in the office.
AIESEC is in over 100 countries, so whether you’re looking to say more than “Biblioteca” or trying to impress those cute French exchange students, we probably have something for you.
Apply today to see exactly what’s out there right now. Browsing is only $45 (for a limited time), so don’t wait!
Apply today to start seeing actual international internships. It’s only $45 (for a limited time!) to see all our internships, and no further obligation (unless you actually find something you like)...why wait?
Joe worked for several months in Bogota, Colombia on an AIESEC traineeship: “My traineeship to Colombia totally opened my eyes to another way of life and exposed me to new skills and attitudes. It was a great chance for me to immerse myself in the language and learn Spanish. Having never studied Spanish, I'm now able to have basic conversations with Spanish speakers - all from just a few months there!”
